To foster business relationships between local manufacturers, suppliers, importers of security and safety products, as well as software and cyber security entrepreneurs, and representatives from leading international technology companies, the ‘‘International Security and Safety Expo 2025’’ is set to take place in Dhaka. The event aims to create significant opportunities for commercial collaboration and exchange of security and safety technologies between local and international firms.
The expo will officially be inaugurated on Thursday, September 18 at 10:00 AM at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) by Fayez Ahmad Tayyab, Special Assistant on Posts and Telecommunications to the Chief Adviser, who has kindly agreed to be the chief guest at the ceremony.
This is the first time the International Security and Safety Expo 2025 will be held for three consecutive days, jointly organized by i-Station Limited (a local tech product service provider), the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) (the trade body of IT entrepreneurs), and GPE Expo (FZE), a Dubai-based tech company. The event will run until Saturday, September 20.
Organizers have stated that following the official inauguration, a Business-to-Business (B2B) session will be held. In this session, domestic manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software developers, and young entrepreneurs in banking, corporate, and cyber security sectors will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with representatives from top international technology companies. This interaction is expected to build smart connections between local security technology industries and international innovations. It will also open up new business opportunities for young entrepreneurs in the security and safety sectors of the country.
The organizers further announced that alongside the three-day international exhibition, the ‘‘International Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo (IOSHFE)’’ will also take place. In this expo, technology companies from around the world will showcase their latest safety and security technology products, such as, Fire safety technology for workplaces, Safety equipment, Smart monitoring systems, Health and fire safety technologies, Smart software solutions, Cybersecurity innovations, Personal protective equipment (PPE), Surveillance cameras, Other advanced safety and health-related products and services.
