ICB hosts investor meeting in Sylhet to strengthen capital market role

On Tuesday, 23 September, 2025 Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and its subsidiary companies arranged a view exchange meeting with the participation of esteemed investors and stakeholders of Sylhet Branch. The program was held at Hotel Dallas inSylhet. The meeting was presided over by Md. Sohel Ahmad, Head of ICB’s Sylhet Branch. The Managing Director of ICB, Niranjan Chandra Debnath, attended the program as the Chief Guest, while the Deputy Managing Director of ICB, Md. Nurul Huda, was present as the Special Guest. The meeting was also attended by the General Managers and senior officials of various state-owned banks, along with the honorable investors. In the meeting, investors expressed hope that ICB will play an expanded role in strengthing the capital market by ensuring better customer service, promoting good governance and preventing mismanagement in capital market, a press release said.
