A joint inauguration was held under Lion District 315A1 with 52 Lions Clubs in Dhaka recently, a press release said. A colorful program was organized on this occasion at the Marriott Convention Hall in Dhanmondi, the capital.
The program was presided over by Lion Golam Faruk Rabbani, Chairperson Installation and Induction Committee. Lion AKM Golam Faruk, District Governor 315A1, Bangladesh was present as the chief guest.
At the program, Lion AKM Golam Faruk, District Governor, administered the oath of office to the elected Board of Directors of all the clubs. Along with this, the elected President of Lions Club of Dhaka Face was given a pocket badge with his own logo, which calls for “Self-motivation develops leadership”. In addition, all the presidents, secretaries and treasurers of each club were honored with medals.
Lion AKM Rezaul Haque, Chairman Bangladesh Lions Foundation, Lion Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin were present as special guests. Among others, Lion Naujat Sarwat Islam, 1st Vice District Governor, Advocate Md. Abul Hossain Khandaker, 2nd Vice District Governor, past district governor of the district and other leaders were also present.
