ICC BD president visits Auckland Business Chamber, ICC New Zealand

ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman visited Auckland during 5-9 September along with a 5-Member Business Delegation at the invitation of Auckland Business Chamber and ICC New Zealand. The Delegation held a meeting with Simon Bridges, ICC New Zealand Secretary General &Chief Executive Officer of Auckland Business Chamber on 8 September. They discussed on the possibilities of exporting RMG, pharmaceutical and leather products from Bangladesh to New Zealand as well as exploring investment opportunities. ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman extended invitation to Bridges to visit Bangladesh with a Business Delegation to give the opportunity to further discuss on the prospect of increasing trade and investment between the two countries as well as arrange visit for the delegation to different industrial units and export processing zones. The Business Delegation included ICC Bangladesh Vice President A.K.Azad; Mohammed Abdul Jabbar, Managing Director, DBL Group; Matiur Rahman, Chairman & Managing Director, Uttara Group of Companies; Engr. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Managing Director, Saiham Cotton Mills Limited and ICC Bangladesh Secretary Genial Ataur Rahman, a press release said.
