Mymensingh audition and selection round held at Mukul Niketan High School

‘Magic Bauliana 2025 Fifth Season’ has started again on Maasranga Television in search of new talent in Bengali folk music, initiated by Sun Foundation and sponsored by Square Toiletries Limited, a press release said.

Sun Foundation started its journey to stand by the artists, ensure their proper evaluation, song rights and royalties, and to create a proper archive for future generations. Since its inception, Sun Foundation has been working to promote Bengali folk music. In continuation of that, this year’s Magic Bauliana 2025 started. More than 38,000 contestants from all over the country have registered for this fifth edition till August 22.

Mymensingh audition round was held on September 27, at MukulNiketan High School. Numerous contestants participated throughout the day, enthralled by the tunes of their Baul songs at MukulNiketan High School, Mymensingh premises. The judges were Kamruzzaman Rabbi, PaglaBablu, Lovely Dev, KhairulWasi, Ayesha ZebinDeepa and ShafiulBadsha.

After analyzing the songs, melody, rhythm, presentation, posture, etc. of all the contestants, the judges gave magic cards to 4 artists from the audition and selection round to come to Dhaka. Thus, the contestants selected from all over the country will participate in the mega selection round in Dhaka.
