EU VC Professor Sobhani receives ATN Bangla lifetime award

World Teachers’ Day 2025, two renowned educationists have been awarded “Lifetime Achievement Award” in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the development of education. The event, organized at ATN Bangla’s studio today (October 15) at 3 pm, was jointly organized by “Samoyer Sathe” ATN Bangla and Bangladesh Chhatra Kalyan Trust. At the event, Managing Director of Bangladesh Chhatra Kalyan Trust and Director of Palli Sanchay Bank, Principal Noor Alam Talukder presented the award. The two educationists who received the lifetime achievement award are Professor Dr. Farid Ahmed Sobhani, Vice Chancellor, Eastern University and Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh Open University. Also present at the event were ATN Bangla “Samoyer Sathe” Program Director and Education Watch Editor Md. Khalilur Rahman. The two educationists who received the award said that this recognition will further inspire their efforts in education and social development. Recognition of lifelong contributions in the field of education – gratitude to teachers, a press release said.
