Bengal Commercial Bank has started banking operations in Barisal with reliable and modern banking services.The bank’s 33rd Branch has been inaugurated at Fatima Center in the BibiPukur Par area of the city, a press release said.
Md. Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Bank and president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), inaugurated the Branch on 30 October 2025, Thursday. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank presided over the inaugural ceremony whileEbaydulHaque Chand, President of BarishalChamber of Commerce and Industry; Mohammad Nizam Uddin, President of Barishal Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Local Prominent Businessmen; Md. HumayunKabir, FCS, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary of the Bank; other High Officials, clients and local elites were also present.
It is worth mentioning that Bengal Commercial Bank has its Branches in differerent places of the country including Dhaka, Chattogram, Barishal, Cumilla, Noakhali, Rangpur, Bogura, Pabna, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Tangail. The Bank has been actively expanding its Branches and Sub-branches network across the country while Sylhet Branch is going to be opened soon.
