Robi Axiata PLC. has been honored for its outstanding contribution to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for its groundbreaking maternity support program, “BLOOM”. The recognition came under the “Excellence in DEI” category at the Sustainability and Innovation Award 2025, organized by the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), a press release said.
NBR Chairman Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA presented the award to Robi’s Chief People Officer, Muhammad Shoaib Baig. Also present on stage were FICCI Vice President Yasir Azman, Board Member Manabu Sugawara, and Executive Director T I M Nurul Kabir. Robi’s GM of Strategic Communications, Niaz Mohammad Siddiqui, was also in attendance.
Launched on 1 October 2024, BLOOM redefines maternity support in corporate Bangladesh. It goes beyond traditional policies, blending empathy, operational continuity, and career development into one cohesive framework. The initiative reflects Robi’s deep commitment to DEI—ensuring motherhood supports, rather than stalls, professional growth.
