Banglalink, the country’s leading innovative digital operator, has announced the appointment of Kazi Mahboob Hassan as its new Chief Marketing Officer, further strengthening its leadership team as it accelerates digital services and enhances customer experience nationwide, a press release said.
Bringing with him a wealth of experience in telecommunications, technology, and finance, Kazi has spent two decades in diverse leadership roles. He brings a proven track record of driving transformative growth, spearheading digital innovation, and shaping customer-centric strategies across some of South Asia’s most competitive markets.
Kazi most recently served as the founding CEO of r ventures PLC, where he built a high-performing digital ecosystem from the ground up. In parallel, as CIO of Robi Axiata, he led major advancements in ICT, IoT, cybersecurity, and large-scale IT transformation, ensuring near-zero downtime and robust digital service delivery.
His leadership experience spans high-impact roles at Delhivery, Grameenphone, Deloitte UK, and IBM UK, where he worked across multiple markets and industries. He has supported major global clients including Deutsche Telekom and Unilever through large-scale transformation, digitalization, and growth initiatives.
Kazi holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), and is an alumnus of IBA, University of Dhaka.
