Midland Bank donates ambulance to charity

Midland Bank PLC. has donated an ambulance to Anjuman Mofidul Islam, a charitable organization and one of the leading ambulance service providers in Dhaka city, serving both patients and deceased persons within and outside Dhaka. This donation is part of the Bank’s commitment to social wellbeing under its CSR programme. The Bank has provided this ambulance from the Islami Banking Compensation Fund, a press release said.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, handed over the key of the ambulance to Mohammad Azim Bakhsh and Alhaj Mohammad Aslam, Trustees & Vice Presidents of Anjuman Mofidul Islam. The programme was held on 04 December 2025 at the Head Office of the Bank.

Anjuman Mofidul Islam provides free ambulance services in Dhaka city. The well-known organization also undertakes various other charitable activities for the welfare of society. Among others, Syed Lukman Ahmed, Joint Director (Branch) of Anjuman Mofidul Islam; Md. Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution & Chief Bancassurance Officer; Didarul Islam, CFO; Md. Bajlur Rahman Khan, Head of CRM and Head of Sustainable Finance Unit; and Nakul Chandra Debnath, Head of GSD of Midland Bank, were also present at the handover ceremony.
