From now on, BGMEA members and their family members will be able to avail exclusive healthcare facilities at four leading hospitals in Singapore – Mount Elizabeth Hospital Orchard, Mount Elizabeth Hospital Novena, Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, a press release said.
A landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Parkway Hospitals Singapore Private Limited, a Singapore-based internationally renowned healthcare provider.
The MoU was signed today (Wednesday) at the BGMEA office in Uttara. Shah Raeed Chowdhury and Nafis-ud-Daulah, Director, BGMEA, and Zahid Hasan Khan, Director, IHH Healthcare Bangladesh Office, signed the MoU on behalf of BGMEA. Senior officials from both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
BGMEA members will get special discounts on various fixed packages including executive health screening for their respective family members. BGMEA members will also get 24-hour hotline access (01711438877), medical visa and appointment assistance, and transportation from Changi Airport for hospital admission. In addition, they will enjoy priority appointments with leading medical specialists and free treatment plans, ‘Meet-the-Doctors’ sessions, and various health services.
BGMEA Director Shah Raeed Chowdhury said, “We are delighted to be associated with a world-class organization like Parkway to ensure quality international healthcare for BGMEA members and their family members. This is part of BGMEA’s ongoing efforts to ensure the well-being of our members.”
Director Nafis-ud-Daula said, “This MoU reflects BGMEA’s commitment to our members. Now our members will be able to access international standard medical facilities easily and on a priority basis, which will help ensure their good health.”
It is worth noting that earlier, BGMEA had also signed MoUs with 14 hospitals and diagnostic centers locally in two phases to ensure improved healthcare facilities for its members, officers and employees and their families.

This MoU was signed with Parkway Hospitals Singapore under the dedicated initiative and overall supervision of BGMEA Director Shah Raeed Chowdhury, which will be effective from December 10, 2025 and will remain in force until December 9, 2027.
