DHAKA, BANANI : Golden Tulip TheGrandmark-Dhaka today successfully hosted a FREE Kids’ Art Competition at the hotel premises, transforming the “Hall De Mark” into a canvas of color and patriotic expression to celebrate the spirit of Mahan BijoyDibosh (Great Victory Day).
Over 30 young artists, aged 5 to 12 years participated in the event, vividly capturing the theme of Victory Day, Bangladesh’s national pride, and the historic struggle for freedom. The competition provided a dynamic platform for children to channel their creativity and connect with the nation’s history through art.
The competition commenced promptly at 11:00 AM, following a bustling registration period. The atmosphere was one of energetic focus, with children diligently using crayons and color pencils to illustrate their understanding of the nation’s founding principles and the iconic red and green flag.
“Victory Day is a celebration of our nation’s indomitable spirit and a tribute to the sacrifices made for our independence. By hosting this art competition, we aimed to foster patriotism and creativity in the next generation,” said Mohammad Sazzad Hossain, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications of Golden Tulip TheGrandmark-Dhaka. “It was truly inspiring to see the focus in their eyes and the stories they told through color—from maps of Bangladesh to scenes of our Liberation War. Their art is a powerful reminder of how the next generation connects with our history.”
Following the completion of the competition, a distinguished panel of judges meticulously reviewed the vibrant entries. All participants were celebrated for their efforts, receiving an official Certificate of Participation, while the selected winners were formally awarded their prizes immediately following the judging, marking the grand finale of the event.
The program concluded on a high note with a joyful cake cutting ceremony, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to community engagement and celebrating national holidays with meaningful, family-oriented initiatives.
