The Marketing Alumni Association of Dhaka University organized a prayer, grave visit, and wreath-laying program to pray for the eternal peace of the soul of the world-renowned uncompromising leader and respected former Prime Minister Late Begum Khaleda Zia. During this time, recitation from the Holy Quran and special prayers were offered seeking the eternal peace of the souls of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and Late Begum Khaleda Zia, a press release said.
The event was attended by the Honorable President of the Executive Committee of the Marketing Alumni Association, Professor Dr. Ashraful Islam Chowdhury, Vice President Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan, Professor Dr. A, B, M, Shahidul Islam, General Secretary Khandaker Md. Rafiq Hasan, Honorable Advisors Dewan Rashidul Hasan, Momtaz Ahsan Bakul, Shamsul Alam, Honorable members of the Executive Committee, and members and well-wishers from all walks of life of the Marketing family, including general and life members.
