Social Marketing Company (SMC) inaugurated its pavilion at the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2026 on January 5, 2026. The fair, which began on 3 January 2026, provides a national platform for organizations to connect with consumers and showcase products and services that contribute to the country’s economic and social development. Toslim Uddin Khan, Managing Director and CEO of SMC, and Sayef Nasir, Managing Director of SMC Enterprise Limited (SMC EL), along with other senior officials attended the inauguration ceremony, a press release said.
At the fair, SMC is presenting its commitment to public health through a range of people-centered initiatives. A key attraction of the pavilion is a dedicated Breastfeeding Corner, offering a safe, comfortable, and hygienic space for mothers to breastfeed their infants. This initiative reflects SMC’s long-standing focus on maternal and child health and its efforts to promote mother-friendly facilities in public spaces.
In addition, the pavilion is offering basic health screening services to visitors through trained paramedics of SMC. Fair visitors can access services such as blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, and weight measurement, enabling them to conveniently monitor their basic health status while attending the fair.
SMC is displaying and selling a wide range of its products at the fair. These products cover major categories including maternal and child health, nutrition, contraceptives, health and hygiene, rehydration, and food and beverage, all of which play an important role in improving people’s health and overall quality of life across different socio-economic backgrounds. Through these products, SMC continues to support healthier lifestyle for individuals and families across the country.
