Annual Business Conference-2026 of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) was held on January 17, 2026. Md. Ataur Rahman Honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors was present as the chief guest in the conference. Md. Mohasin Miah- Chairman of the Board Executive Committee, Shaikh Ashafuzzaman FCA-Chairman of the Board Audit Committee were present as special guests. Mohammad Ziaul Karim- Deputy Managing Director Managing Director and CEO (C.C) of the bank presided over the program. Among other Deputy Managing Director Md. Zahirul Alam, all Branch Manager, Sub-branch in-charge, Divisional heads of the head office and other officials participated in the conference. The program evaluated and analyzed the progress of all business targets (deposits, loans and advances, profit/loss, loan recovery, import/export, remittance) of the participating branches and sub-branches as of December-2025, as well as the work plan for 2026 and the outline of achieving business targets, a press release said.
The chief guest, Md. Ataur Rahman, in his speech, instructed all concerned to ensure the best customer service to achieve the overall goals of the bank. He also advised everyone to work together to deliver all types of services of the bank to the doorstep of the customers. Chairman of the Board Executive Committee, Md. Mohasin Miah gave the necessary strategies and directions to achieve all the desired targets of 2026, including giving utmost importance to deposit collection as well as non-funded business.
