Entrepret Season 3 of NSU YES had concluded its much-anticipated Grand Finale at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel on Thursday (29 January 2026), bringing together Bangladesh’s brightest inter-university entrepreneurial talent. Designed to transform ideas into execution-ready ventures, Entrepret challenged participants across four progressive rounds: Envision, Evolve, Execute, and Emerge; testing strategy, innovation, and business acumen at every stage, a press release said.
Entrepret Season 3 was presented by Southeast Bank PLC, Co-Sponsored by Gold Kinen, Powered by Krishibid Group, Driven by AiA Ventures Ltd, and in Association with Noor Unique Builders.
The finale saw six finalist teams pitch their start-up ideas to a panel of distinguished judges, including Kashef Rahman, Founder of ShareTrip; Rehanur Rahman, Co-Founder of Crimson Cup Coffee Bangladesh; and Zia Ashraf, Founder of Chaldal PLC. The event also featured inspiring speeches from the Chief Guest, M. A. Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC and Founder Life Member & Former Chairman of North South University (NSU), alongside special guests Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of the NSU Board of Trustees; Benajir Ahmed, Founder Life Member & Former Chairman, NSU Trust; Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of North South University; Professor Nasar Uddin Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of North South University; and Mirza M. Ferdous, Faculty Advisor of NSU YES!
After rigorous evaluation, Team Kormo from Jahangirnagar University was declared Champion, taking home BDT 2,50,000 in equity-free seed funding, Dhaka–Cox’s Bazar round-trip air tickets courtesy of US-Bangla Airlines, and a 2-gram gold bar from GoldKinen, along with mentorship and incubation support. The First Runner-Up position was claimed by Team Muri Makha, a cross-institutional team representing Bangladesh University of Professionals, University of Dhaka, and North South University, who received BDT 1,50,000, Dhaka–Sylhet round-trip air tickets provided by US-Bangla Airlines, and a 1-gram gold bar from GoldKinen. The Second Runner-Up title went to Team Defaulters from Bangladesh University of Professionals, who earned BDT 1,00,000, Dhaka–Chattogram round-trip air tickets arranged by US-Bangla Airlines, and a 1-gram gold bar courtesy of GoldKinen. The Grand Finale highlighted not just competition, but collaboration, creativity, and resilience as the young participants showcased their MVPs and business strategies before industry leaders and peers.
Through Entrepret Season 3, NSU YES! once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, providing students with mentorship, exposure, and the tools to transform innovative ideas into impactful ventures that can shape the future of business in Bangladesh.
