Argentina’s Ambassador to Dhaka Marcelo Carlos Cesa made the remarks at a program titled “Argentina Fan Jersey Unveiling Ceremony” held at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Monday last (February 23, 2026).
The envoy attended the event as the chief guest while Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Chairman S M Shamsul Alam, Managing Director S M Mahbubul Alam and Director Sabiha Jarin Arona were also present.
Walton is the official regional sponsor of the world champion Argentina national football team. Walton has joined the Argentina national football team by signing an agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). Through this, Walton has acquired all types of branding rights of the Argentina national football team. In view of this, the company has unveiled the fan jersey of the Argentina football team ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA Football World Cup.
