PKSF observed International Women’s Day 2026 today with the theme ‘Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls’. To mark the occasion, a discussion meeting was held at PKSF Bhaban-1 in Agargaon, Dhaka. The event was presided over by Zakir Ahmed Khan, Chairman of PKSF. Md Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF spoke on the occasion. Md Mesbahur Rahman, General Manager delivered the welcome remarks, a press release said.
PKSF’s Manager Mahmuda Morshed presented on rights and justice for women and girls. Jesmin Ara, Manager, gave a presentation on work environment for women. Anika Zaman Tasneem, Deputy Manager, presented on the progress of underprivileged women and women entrepreneurs.
In his speech, Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader emphasized on PKSF’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and empowering women through its various developmental initiatives. Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan concluded the session by reiterating the importance of collective action to ensure the protection of rights for every woman and girl.
