Home Minister extends Eid greetings to nation

DHAKA: Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the country on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, reports BSS.

In a message issued on the eve of the festival, he also conveyed special greetings to the residents of his constituency, Cox’s Bazar-1 (Chakaria-Pekua).

He said that after a month of fasting during Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr arrives with a message of joy, peace, and celebration.

“Eid teaches us the values of compassion, harmony, and brotherhood,” he stated.

He expressed hope that the festive occasion would bring happiness and peace to people from all walks of life, regardless of wealth or status.

The minister urged everyone to uphold the spirit of sacrifice and work together to build a prosperous and inclusive nation.

“Let our Eid pledge be to strengthen equality and unity in building a happy and developed Bangladesh,” he added.

He also wished all citizens good health, long life, and continued prosperity, expressing optimism that people across the country would be able to celebrate the festival in a safe, peaceful, and joyful environment.
