Shwapno helps underprivileged child Samia

Shwapno, the country’s leading retail chain, has stepped forward to support 12-year-old underprivileged child Samia Akter from Pohnokucha West Para under Bagmara South Union No. 2 in Lalmai Upazila, Cumilla, a press release said.

As part of its humanitarian support initiative, Shwapno has taken the responsibility of providing Samia with monthly financial assistance of BDT 5,000.

This support is expected to help cover Samia’s essential daily expenses and contribute positively to improving her overall quality of life. Shwapno remains committed to standing beside underprivileged and disadvantaged people in society, and this initiative reflects that ongoing commitment.

The event was attended by Mohammad Lokman Hossain, Chairman of Bagmara South Union Parishad No. 2, female member Shahida Begum, local distinguished persons, and officials of Shwapno.

Chairman Mohammad Lokman Hossain said, “It is our moral responsibility to stand beside helpless people in society. Initiatives like this by Shwapno will set a humane example for others.”
