Islami Bank holds Fire Drill

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC arranged a fire drill at its head office Islami Bank Tower focusing on fire prevention, extinguishing, rescue, and emergency exit on 5 May 2026, Tuesday. Md. Altaf Hossain, managing director (current charge), Engr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Director, Md. Aminur Rahman, senior executive vice president, Lt Colonel (Retd.)  K F A Sohel, head of Safety and Security Department of the bank, Mohammad Anamul Hoque, deputy assistant director, Md. Ruhul Amin & Md. Al Maruf, Senior Station Officer of Fire Service & Civil Defense along with executive and officials of IBBPLC & Fire Service attended the program. The Fire Drill was organized to ensure workplace safety and enhance coordinated emergency response capabilities during critical situations, a press release said.
