With Eid-ul-Adha approaching, shopping activity has gained momentum across the country as consumers increasingly turn to online platforms to avoid crowds, traffic congestion, and time constraints. In response, the country’s largest retail chain Shwapno has introduced its “Eid Mega Offer” to make festive shopping more affordable, convenient, and accessible, a press release said.
Under the campaign, Shwapno Online and its official mobile application are offering discounts of up to 55%, along with free home delivery and exclusive benefits on selected bank cards.
The company stated that customers can now complete their essential grocery and Eid shopping from the comfort of their homes. Orders worth BDT 1,500 or more will be eligible for free home delivery. New customers will receive a flat 10% discount on their first order using the voucher code “WC10”, while an additional BDT 100 instant discount will be available on purchases of BDT 2,000 or more using the code “PLATINUM100”.
To encourage digital transactions, Shwapno has also introduced special offers for Visa and Mastercard users across all banks, with discounts of up to BDT 240 on card payments. In addition, The City Bank American Express and Visa Infinite credit card holders will enjoy cash savings of up to BDT 500 on Eid purchases.
The retailer has also announced Eid-specific price reductions across essential fast-moving consumer goods. Key items include Miniket rice loose (Jirashail) at BDT 69 per kg, Pusti flour (2 kg) at BDT 99, Fresh Super Premium salt (1 kg) at BDT 34, Fresh milk powder (1000 g) at BDT 850, and Ceylon family blend tea (400 g) at BDT 175.
Other discounted products include Fresh instant noodles (masala flavor, 496 g) at BDT 109, Paragon paratha family pack (1300 g) at BDT 270, Golden Harvest French fries (500 g) at BDT 194, Paragon chicken mini spring rolls at BDT 188, Dove Intense Repair shampoo (650 ml) at BDT 599, and Domex Lime Fresh toilet cleaner (500 ml) at BDT 85.
