Nagad has rolled out a new campaign as part of its continuous efforts to encourage remittance inflows through legal channels. Customers receiving remittances into their Nagad accounts via Taptap Send, the international money transfer service, will now get a cash bonus of up to BDT 300, alongside the government’s 2.5 percent incentive, a press release said.

Under the campaign titled “Remittance-e Double Khushi” (Double Joy in Remittance), a customer will be eligible for an additional 1.25 percent cash bonus upon receiving a minimum single transaction of BDT 10,000 through Taptap Send. A customer can enjoy a maximum bonus of BDT 300 during the campaign period.

The campaign, which began on 20 May 2026, will run until 31st of the month. To avail of the offer, a customer’s Nagad account must be active and fully profiled.

Also, under the “Har Na Mana Har” campaign, when expatriates send at least BDT 10,000 to Nagad accounts, the recipients back home get a chance to win a gold necklace. Previously, Bonna Khatun, a resident of Madhukhali in Faridpur, became the first winner of this campaign after receiving remittance sent by her husband, Md. Farid from Dubai. Raima Tabassum Rasha became the second winner to receive a gold necklace after collecting remittance sent by her expatriate husband.

Nagad has taken this initiative to encourage expatriates to send remittances through legal channels and to ensure a more convenient digital remittance experience for customers.

Md. Ahsanul Hoque Bashar, head of Remittance at Nagad, said, “Nagad is constantly working to ensure that the hard-earned money of expatriates reaches home quickly, safely, and easily. This initiative with Taptap Send will make it even more convenient for expats to send home their money. Additionally, since another campaign is running simultaneously, customers stand a chance to win a gold necklace.”

Such an initiative is also aimed at bringing extra joy to expatriates and their families ahead of Eid.

For detailed information regarding the campaign, customers can contact the Nagad helpline at 16167 or 09609616167 or visit Nagad’s verified Facebook page.
