The Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal, the student wing of the BNP, will hold a protest march titled “March for Justice” on Saturday.
The march will start at 2pm at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh and end at the Central Shaheed Minar, says a press release issued on Friday.
Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir announced this program.
This march will highlight the Chhatra Dal’s demand for justice and punishment for what it says were the terrorist activities carried out by the now-banned Chhatra League in educational institutions during the rule of Sheikh Hasina.
The Chhatra Dal is also demanding an investigation into and appropriate action against teachers who played a role as allies of the fallen Awami League government during the student-led mass uprising in July, particularly at educational institutions.
