Seven Circle (Bangladesh) Limited Wins Green Factory Award 2025

DHAKA : Seven Circle (Bangladesh) Limited, the producer of Bangladesh’s leading cement brand, Seven Rings Cement, has won the Green Factory Award 2025. It is the only cement company to receive this honor this year, according to a press release.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment presented the award under the Green Factory Award Policy 2020. This award is given to companies that follow excellent eco-friendly and sustainable practices.

Kazi Abdullah Al Mahmud, Senior General Manager of Human Resources, received the award on behalf of the company. Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Shipping, handed over the award at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.

Adilur Rahman Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, attended as the special guest. Other important guests included AHM Shafiquzzaman, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment; Md. Delowar Hossain, General Manager; and Niaz Mohammed, Assistant General Manager of Seven Rings Cement, along with senior government officials.

Seven Circle (Bangladesh) Limited is part of the Hong Kong-based multinational Shun Shing Group. This group runs businesses in 14 cities across the world. It operates three cement factories in Bangladesh and has a modern plant in Dubai.
