NSU hosts admission test for fall 2025 semester

Dhaka : North South University (NSU), the leading private university in Bangladesh, successfully has conducted its undergraduate admission test for the Fall 2025 semester on Saturday. About eight thousand candidates appeared for the exam, aiming for admission into one of the four distinguished schools of the university: the School of Health and Life Sciences, the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Business and Economics, according to a press release.

Following a visit to the examination halls, NSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury addressed the gathered parents and guardians, expressing his sincere gratitude.

“Thank you for trusting us and choosing NSU for your children’s higher education. North South University is one of the top institutions in the country, equipped with world-class facilities,” he said. Through our innovative and hands-on academic programs, we prepare students for professional success and to contribute meaningfully to national development. I believe our incoming students will uphold and enhance NSU’s legacy of excellence.” M. A. Kashem, Founder Member of the Board of Trustees, NSU, noted the overwhelming interest and participation in the admission process.

He remarked, “The dream with which we founded this university seems to be taking concrete shape through your continued support and enthusiasm. To meet the growing demand, we are moving forward with plans to build a much larger and more modern campus in Purbachal.” Aziz Al Kaiser, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, NSU, reaffirmed the university commitment to academic distinction.

He said, “North South University has earned its place as one of the premier universities in the country, thanks to its commitment to academic excellence, cutting-edge research, an international standard curriculum, and a highly qualified faculty. With continued support from students and guardians, we aim to maintain and exceed this standard. Our goal is to nurture graduates who are successful professionals and responsible and ethical citizens.” Also present on the occasion were NSU Treasurer and Pro Vice-Chancellor (IC) Professor Abdur Rob Khan; Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office Dr. Md. Nurul Kabir; NSU Proctor Dr. Abdul Khaleque, along with Deans, Directors, and other senior officials from various departments.  The NSU Admissions Office has announced that the admission test results will be published shortly. Applicants are advised to check the official NSU website for updates regularly.
