Southeast Bank Managing Director Nuruddin Md. Sadek Hossain has resigned. He submitted his resignation letter to the bank chairman on July 28, 2025, citing ill health, accordin g to a press release.
Earlier, on May 4 this year, Nuruddin Md. Sadek Hossain was sent on a three-month leave by the bank board of directors. Which was effective until August 4. During this time, Additional Managing Director Abidur Rahman Chowdhury served as the Managing Director (Current Responsibilities) of the bank. Earlier, on April 5, 2023, Nuruddin Md. Sadek Hossain was appointed as the Managing Director of Southeast Bank. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the bank.
