A single moment can hold a thousand memories and emotions, and vivo is preparing to help capture them from any distance. The global smartphone brand, known for its innovation, is set to introduce a new highlight in its V series in Bangladesh. While the official announcement has yet to be made, speculation suggests that a ZEISS super-telephoto camera may be one of its most exciting features, a press release said.
With varied focal lengths, users could frame their best shots in new ways — from the emotions of a performer on stage, to the energy of a crowd, the quiet gaze of newlyweds, or serene portraits blending people and nature.
ZEISS, a pioneer in optical technology for 178 years, has long been associated with clarity and precision. From capturing distant mountains and faces in a crowd, to photographing starry skies under the moonlight, ZEISS telephoto lenses bring faraway details into sharp focus. The company’s expertise extends across cinema, entertainment, science, research, healthcare, photography, and even space exploration — from the Apollo missions to the James Webb Space Telescope.
In photography and cinematography, ZEISS telephoto lenses bring subjects closer while blurring the background, creating images that are more detailed, clear, and emotionally powerful. In science and industry, they reveal fine textures and patterns invisible to the naked eye. In medicine, ZEISS optics have revolutionised delicate brain, eye, and ear surgeries, aided diagnosis in pathology labs, and advanced forensic science through microscopic evidence analysis.
Beyond science and healthcare, the same technology helps enhance experiences in sport and entertainment — from zooming into a distant cricket batsman’s stance to capturing the decisive expression of a footballer on the field, with natural colour, contrast, and detail intact.
Following its global debut, vivo plans to gradually expand availability of V series devices equipped with ZEISS telephoto technology. While no launch date for Bangladesh has been officially announced, consumers can expect to experience ZEISS telephoto imaging locally in the near future.
