Union Bank holds 54th meeting of newly formed board of directors

The 54^th board meeting of the newly formed board of the directors of Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 28August, 2025. Honorable chairman of the Board of the Directors of the bank Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting.Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA,Independent Directors Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mohd. Humayun Kabirwere present in the meeting. Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Iqbal and Mizanur Rahmanattended the meeting on the occasion. In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service, a press release said.
