Protest at Mubarakpur Govt Primary School over published news

DCV News Desk:
Must Read

27 and 28, a news item was published in various media outlets about “Mobarakpur Government Primary School”. The news item was seen by all the teachers including the school principal. Protesting the news, the teachers said that Mobarakpur Government Primary School is a traditional educational institution in Tilagaon Union of Kulaura. This school has a great reputation. The teachers of the school are teaching the students with dedication and duty. Many of them are already working with good reputation at various levels of the country after studying from this school. But it is sad but true that our school’s assistant teacher Khursheda Yasmin took some pictures of the guardians (accused of telling the answers to the questions of the students during the first class exam) while they were standing on the balcony and sent them to the journalists at the instigation of another teacher and guardians. We do not understand how a teacher can send pictures to the journalists about the internal affairs of the school. We teachers are teaching the students of the first and second classes of the school, including the students of other classes, with love and compassion. There is no negligence on the part of the teachers here. The published news mentions that some guardians have filed a written complaint with the upazila administration. The complainants, Runel Ahmed and Masuk Mia, are not guardians of the school. This proves that some guardians and the school teacher, Khursheda Yasmin, have intentionally filed a written complaint with the upazila administration and circulated the news to tarnish the reputation and image of the school. We believe that the reputation of the traditional school has been tarnished due to that news. We, the teachers, are shocked by this. If necessary, we will file a written complaint with the Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Primary Education Officer for redress. We request the respected guardians of the area, including the civil society, not to be embarrassed in this regard. We expect justice after a fair investigation.
