BKB holds business conference for Dhaka

A divisional conference of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) regarding the business achievements against targets for the first half of the 2025–2026 fiscal year and the strategies to achieve 100% of the remaining targets was held on January 24, 2026, at the auditorium of the bank’s head office. Sanchia Binte Ali, the Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, was present at the conference as the Chief Guest. During the meeting, all business progress of the Dhaka Division in the first half of the current fiscal year including deposit mobilization, loan disbursement and recovery, control of non-performing loans (NPL) and remittance collection was reviewed. Emphasizing the need for coordinated initiatives to execute future action plans, necessary directives were issued to all concerned for proper implementation. Presided over by the General Manager of Dhaka Division, Golam Md. Arif, the conference was attended by Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdur Rahim and Mohd. Khaleduzzaman and the General Manager of the Planning & Operation Division, Ashrafuzzaman Khan. The Divisional Audit Officer (DAO) of Dhaka Division, all Chief Regional Managers (CRM), Corporate Branch Heads, Regional Audit Officers, and Branch Managers were also present on the occasion, a press release said.
