The UAE Foreign Aid Coordination Director Mr. Rashed Mohammed Naser Almail Alzaabi at the UAE Embassy in Dhaka, in coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent, organized a Winter Campaign relief distribution among 1,500 families affected by the devastating fire at Korail slum, a press release said.

The relief distribution program was held recently at the Banani Model School field, where affected families received essential winter relief items to help them cope with the ongoing hardships following the fire incident.

“The UAE stands beside communities affected by crisis. This winter relief initiative reflects our continued humanitarian support in Bangladesh, and more such initiatives will take place in the future.” said Mr. Almail Alzaabi.

The initiative reflects the UAE Government’s continued humanitarian commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Bangladesh during times of crisis.
