On the occasion of “Safeguarding” and “PSHEA” Awareness Week – 12-19 April 2026, a 7-day awareness program of Aparajeyo Bangladesh will be held from all projects of Aparajeyo Bangladesh on Sunday. The inauguration was announced by Chairman Aleya Anis, Executive Director Wahida Banu Swapna, Director Program Md. Humayun Kabir and other employees from the head office of Aparajeyo Bangladesh.
Chairman of Aparajeyo Bangladesh Aleya Anis said, Safeguarding Awareness is not just a celebration; it is a social movement. Each of us should participate in this initiative and try to ensure safety from our own position. Through collective efforts, we can build a safe and secure future.
Executive Director Wahida Banu Swapna said, Safeguarding or ensuring safety is such an important issue that is related to the protection of every person in the society, especially children, women, program participants and vulnerable populations. ‘Safeguarding Awareness Week’ is celebrated with the aim of increasing awareness among people, instilling a sense of responsibility and building a safe organization.
