The newly elected leaders of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) paid a courtesy call on MP Mustafizur Rahman Bhuiyan Dipu, who was elected from Narayanganj-1 (Rupganj) constituency in the national parliamentary elections, a press release said.
The courtesy call was held at his office in Motijheel this afternoon. A delegation led by REHAB President Dr. Ali Afzal and Senior Vice President Abdur Razzak met the MP. At that time, REHAB Vice President-2 Abu Khalid Md. Barkatullah, Vice President-3 A.F.M. Ubaidullah, Vice President (Finance) Dr. Md. Harun Or Rashid and other leaders of the organization were present.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the current situation, challenges and prospects of the country’s housing sector. The REHAB President mentioned that the housing sector is making an important contribution to the country’s economy and has direct and indirect links with more than 200 sectors. As a result, timely policies and easy loan facilities are needed to keep this sector dynamic.
At this time, REHAB leaders sought cooperation from MP Mustafizur Rahman Bhuiyan Dipu in developing the housing sector and solving problems. They expressed hope that as a member of parliament, he will play an effective role in the relevant issues and will highlight the interests of the housing sector at the policy-making level.
MP Mustafizur Rahman Bhuiyan Dipu highlighted the importance of the housing sector and said that the role of this sector in the development and urbanization of the country is immense. He assured the REHAB leaders that he will work sincerely to provide the necessary cooperation in the development of the housing sector and will discuss the relevant issues with the government and policymakers.
