Dhaka : Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has launched a new Visa Virtual Prepaid Card portfolio, bringing customers a fully digital and eco-friendly payment solution at its head office in Dhaka today, according to a press release.
The cards are available in two variants- EBL Daraz Co-Brand Visa Virtual Prepaid Card and EBL Visa Lifestyle Virtual Prepaid Card. According to concerned bank officials, this initiative reflects EBL’s continued commitment to innovation and digital transformation in the banking industry.
The EBL Virtual Prepaid Card allows customers to open and issue their card entirely online through the Skybanking app without needing a previous relationship with the bank. This seamless onboarding process enables users to access full card functionality from their mobile devices, combining security, flexibility, and sustainability in one simple solution.
