The mobile application My BKB App by Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) has been recognized as the Best Innovative Initiative under the State-Owned Specialized Bank category in the Innovation Showcasing segment of the e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan 2024–2025, according to a press release.
Since the launch of My BKB App Bangladesh Krishi Bank has made significant strides in digital transformation, enabling customers to access modern banking servicessuch as balance inquiries and fund transfers with ease. The app has generated a tremendous response, particularly inthe area of remittance services. As a result, in the fiscal year 2024–2025, Bangladesh Krishi Bank facilitatedforeign remittance transactions totaling BDT 25,550 crore (USD 2 billions). On behalf of Bangladesh Krishi Bank,the prestigious award was received by Md. A. Rahim Deputy Managing Director of the Bank.The event wasgraced by Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Honorable Economic Adviser, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury,Special Assistant to the Honorable Chief Adviser, attended as the Special Guest. The program was presided over by Nazma Mobarek, Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance.
