Dhaka : Leading global smartphone brand vivo is set to launch the Y400 for the Bangladesh market. A new flagship model in it’s popular Y series, the phone is aimed for adventurous users looking to experiment with underwater photography and capture extraordinary moments in challenging environments, according to a press release.
Designed with explorers and photography enthusiasts in mind, the Y400 features an IP69 rating, offering a high level of protection against water and dust. The phone can operate safely for up to 30 minutes at a depth of two metres in clean water, making it a compelling companion for underwater shoots, beach trips, or rainy-day adventures. The device remains fully functional even with wet hands and is capable of detecting and responding to high moisture levels to protect internal components, according to vivo. In addition to its robust waterproofing, the Y400 introduces a minimalist unibody design, measuring just 7.9mm thick.
It will be available in two colour variants: Dynamic Green, inspired by the softness of silk, and Pearl White, which reflects light with a subtle, natural glow. vivo says the sleek finish adds a premium look and feel to the phone.
