Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC in collaboration with Mastercard inaugurated fully cashless university campus at ChattogramUniversity under Bangladesh Bank’s ‘Cashless Bangladesh’ initiative. The transformation will enable teachers, students and visitors to conduct cashless transactions across campus. As part of the initiative, Islami Bank in collaboration with Mastercardset up Bangla QR at cafeterias, bookstores, administrative offices, train station of Chittagong University. In addition, an exclusive debit card for students has been launched through the ceremony, offering them a convenient and secure way to manage their daily financial needs.This card, jointly branded by Islami Bank and MasterCard will be provided free of charge to students, a press release said.
