DHAKA : In a day-long special operation, police from Mohammadpur Police Station arrested 33 individuals involved in various criminal activities across the area in the last 24 hours.
During the raids, officers recovered four knives, 300 pieces of Yaba tablets, and Tk 1,200 in cash from the detainees, said a police press release.
The arrested include individuals accused in regular cases, thefts, and outstanding warrants.
In a separate operation on the same day, New Market Police Station arrested four more individuals from different locations within its jurisdiction on Thursday.
Authorities from both police stations stated that such operations will continue to ensure public safety and maintain law and order in the capital.
