Fatullah Press Club organized a protest rally on Saturday morning in front of the club premises, condemning the recent attack on three journalists in the Signboard Giridhara area.
The rally was presided over by Abdur Rahim, President of Fatullah Press Club, and conducted by Niaz Mohammad Masum, General Secretary. Speakers at the event termed the attack on journalists as a direct assault on democracy and freedom of expression.
They issued a 48-hour ultimatum demanding the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the attackers. The speakers warned that a tougher movement would be launched if their demands were not met.
They also urged law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of media professionals and emphasized that intimidation or attacks cannot silence the voice of truth and objective journalism.

Akash, Correspondent, Jago News; Rafiqullah Ripon, President, Fatullah Model Reporters Club; Shakil Ahmed Diel, Treasurer; Md. Selim, Publicity Secretary; M.A. Sumon, Office Secretary; and several other journalists including P.M. Aziz, Masud Ali, Sohel Rana, Arif Hossain, Shahadat Hossain, Azmir Islam, M.H. Russell, Mokhlesur Rahman Tota, Munna, Sabbir Ahmed, and Sumi.
