Asian Motorspex Ltd, the official distributor of Chery automobiles in Bangladesh, has recently unveiled the all-new Chery Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV, marking its official entry into the country’s premium plug-in hybrid SUV segment, a press release said
The flagship model, which blends luxury, performance, and eco-friendly mobility solutions, was launched at Chery’s official showroom in Tejgaon Industrial Area.
Key figures from the organizations, including Dewan Shajedur Rahman, Managing Director of Asian Motorspex Ltd; Dewan Saidur Rahman, Director of Asian Motorspex Ltd; and Abu Mahmud Naser, Head of Sales for Chery & other high officials, were present at the launch event.
In his keynote address, Dewan Shajedur Rahman emphasized the strategic importance of introducing advanced hybrid technology to the Bangladesh market.

The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV proves that comfort and performance can go hand in hand with a lower carbon footprint. The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV delivers a combined output of 375 KW (502 BHP) with 750 N.m of torque, accelerating from 0-100 KMPH in 5.7 seconds. The vehicle offers a total combined system range of 1,380 KM.
Under the hood, this 7-seater SUV features a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine paired with plug-in hybrid AWD technology and an 8-speed Aisin Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT).
The cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD screen, a Sony 14-speaker high-fidelity surround-sound system, and Nappa leather seats.
Comfort features include massaging, cooled and heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a sliding panoramic roof, and a heated steering wheel.
Safety features include an ANCAP-approved chassis with 85 percent high-strength steel construction and multiple airbags—dual front, front side, side curtain, driver knee, second row side, and a distal airbag.
The vehicle is equipped with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, a 540-degree HD panoramic camera, and transparent off-road view technology.
The exterior sports an upgraded Tiggo family design with a “golden ratio” proportion, measuring 4,810 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,741 mm in height.
It features 20-inch exclusive-range polished alloy wheels and a tiger-eye and diamond-embedded pattern protective grille.
To complement its advanced design and performance, each purchase also includes a complimentary 22kW home fast charger for effortless daily use.
