On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2025, a colorful rally, discussion meeting, free diabetes testing, and a free medical camp were organized by the Narayanganj Health Department in collaboration with BRAC’s Health Program.
During the campaign, free diabetes screening services were provided to around 200 to 300 people.
On Thursday morning (November 13), Dr. Abul Fazal Muhammad Mushiur Rahman, Civil Surgeon of Narayanganj District, inaugurated the rally and the daylong free medical camp held at Uttar Masdair area in Fatullah, Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.
Among others present were Liton Kumar Saha, Regional Accounts Manager; Suman Chowdhury, District Coordinator, BRAC; Shamim Al Mamun Khan, District Manager (TB); Pabitra Kumar Debnath, Area Manager (BHP); and Ontu Chandra Karmakar, Program Organizer, along with other senior officials.
