Bangladesh takes on Sri Lanka at AFC today

DHAKA : A motivated Bangladesh U-17 national football team meets Sri Lanka in their third Group A match of the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled to be held at Tongliang Long Stadium in Chongqing, China, today (Wednesday).

The match kicks off at 12 pm Bangladesh time.

Earlier, Bangladesh made a flying start in the tournament, crushing Timor-Leste 5-0 in their opening Group A match and thrashing Brunei 8-0 in their second match.

Bangladesh will play their remaining group matches against Bahrain on November 28 and host China on November 30.

Seven group champions will secure places in the 16-team finals, joining hosts Saudi Arabia and eight other nations who have already qualified for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
