To make this season’s dream trip smoother, safer, and completely hassle-free, country’s largest online ticketing platform, bdtickets is offering a one-stop solution for travelers to the country’s only coral island, a press release said.

From bus and ship tickets to return tickets and the mandatory travel pass, everything is now available in one place.

This year, bdtickets has been officially recognized as the only Bangladesh Tourism Board-approved online platform for ship ticketing to Saint Martin’s Island. Travelers purchasing ship tickets through bdtickets will automatically receive their required travel pass. To further simplify trip planning, the platform also offers round-trip ticket options, allowing customers to secure the best rates from home. bdtickets users can buy tickets online any day of the week, at any time. For assistance, customers can call the support centre at 16460. All updates, benefits, and promotional offers are available on the official bdtickets website and Facebook page.

Earlier this year, tourist travel to Saint Martin’s Island had been suspended from 1 February. The eight-square-kilometre island in the Bay of Bengal is now open for visitors for three months till January. As per the government directive, tourists may visit only during daytime throughout November, while overnight stays will be permitted in December and January only.

This season, the number of passengers on each ship will be strictly limited. On-spot ticket purchases at the travel point are not allowed, so all tickets must be booked in advance. Travelers must ensure that the name and date of birth on the ticket match the information on their national ID. A printed hard copy of the ticket is required during travel.
