Bangladesh names 14 peacekeepers killed in Sudan

The army has identified the Bangladeshi peacekeepers killed and injured in a terrorist attack on the Kadugli Logistics Base under the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Abyei, Sudan. The identities of the casualties were announced in a press release sent by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday (December 14) afternoon.

According to the ISPR, a drone attack was carried out by a separatist armed group on the Kadugli Logistics Base under the UN peacekeeping mission in the Abyei area of ​​Sudan on Saturday (December 13) from approximately 3:40 to 3:50 local time. In this, 6 Bangladeshi peacekeepers on duty were martyred and 8 peacekeepers were injured.

The other 7 injured have been transferred by helicopter for better treatment and all of them are out of danger.
