Emirates has introduced a new range of complimentary amenity kits for Premium Economy and Economy Class customers on long-haul overnight flights, rolling out globally from December, a press release said.
The reusable kits, made with bio-based materials including cactus, are designed in partnership with United for Wildlife to raise awareness about some of the world’s most endangered species.
For the first time since its launch in 2021, Emirates’ Premium Economy Class will feature a dedicated amenity kit with a wrist strap, containing travel and wellness essentials such as socks, eyeshades, earplugs, a Colgate dental kit, and plant-based skincare products from Aveda.
Economy Class passengers will also receive refreshed, colorful kits with essential comfort items. Several components, including socks and eyeshades, are made from 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, reinforcing the airline’s sustainability focus.
Each collectible pouch features hand-drawn artwork representing wildlife from four natural habitats—sea, sky, forest and desert—along with a story card highlighting endangered animals such as Bengal tigers, African grey parrots, pangolins, green sea turtles, manta rays and Arabian oryx.
The initiative supports Emirates’ Environmental Sustainability Framework and its ongoing commitment to combat illegal wildlife trade as a member of the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce. Passengers can also learn more about conservation efforts by watching the Guardians Series on Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ice, showcasing wildlife rangers and conservation heroes around the world.
