A Bangladeshi-developed global social media application, Hello Superstars, invented by internationally recognized technology entrepreneur Dr. Kamrul Ahsan, has recently been featured in nearly 500 international news outlets, marking a significant milestone for Bangladesh’s growing technology sector, a press release said.

Designed primarily to serve working professionals and expatriate communities, Hello Superstars is a fan–celebrity engagement platform that enables direct, real-time interaction between users and public figures—an area long considered limited on traditional social media platforms.

According to media reports, major international outlets, including the U.S.-based Associated Press, ( https://apnews.com/press-release/marketersmedia/hello-superstars-announces-real-time-fan-celebrity-interaction-platform-innovated-by-dr-kamrul-ahsan-163061b9634b1482295d4c0fb086bc9f ) have published feature stories highlighting the app’s innovative approach to digital engagement.

Unlike conventional platforms, Hello Superstars allows fans to participate in live video interactions, group calls, learning sessions, Q&A forums, and virtual meet-ups with celebrities. The app also offers personalized greeting videos, exclusive paid content, fan communities, and digital marketplaces for celebrity-endorsed and autographed merchandise.

One of the platform’s flagship initiatives, the E-Talent Hunt, aims to identify and promote undiscovered talent globally. The program currently includes virtual music auditions and a football talent identification initiative.

Under the football program, an Under-16 team selected through the platform represented Bangladesh at the La Liga Youth Tournament 2025 in Malaysia, finishing as runners-up in their debut appearance, an achievement described by organizers as unprecedented in the country’s football history.

(International tech genius Dr. Kamrul Ahsan) Hello Superstars has also announced plans to expand its virtual audition programs into acting, cricket, and other creative and sporting fields.

Several international and regional celebrities have joined the platform, including American singer and television personality La Toya Jackson, sister of pop icon Michael Jackson, as well as prominent figures from Bollywood and Bangladesh’s entertainment and sports industries.

The company has already hosted pre-launch and commercial launch events in Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur, and Doha, drawing large audiences and significant online engagement. In Bangladesh, the platform organized a football exhibition match in Cumilla, attended by approximately 20,000 spectators, aimed at reviving interest in the sport.

Commenting on the global media coverage, Dr. Kamrul Ahsan said international feature reporting plays a critical role in introducing new technologies to broader audiences and supporting business expansion. He added that the platform was developed with a particular focus on serving expatriate communities worldwide.

The Bangladeshi operating entity, Hello Superstars Limited, is led by women entrepreneurs. The company is chaired by Khondoker Selina Akter Rani, with Dil Afroze serving as Managing Director.
