Global smartphone brand Infinix has launched the NOTE Edge in Bangladesh, expanding its Note series with a curved-display 5G smartphone positioned in the upper-mid price segment. The new device targets users who expect long-term reliability from their smartphones, combining premium design with durable hardware, extended software support and stable everyday performance, a press release said.

Smartphone usage patterns in Bangladesh have evolved significantly in recent years, with users spending longer hours on screens, multitasking more frequently, and upgrading devices less often. Infinix says the NOTE Edge has been designed with these trends in mind, prioritizing sustained usability over short-term feature appeal and positioning the device for three to four years of regular use.

The NOTE Edge features a 3D-curved 1.5K Ultra HD Eye Protection display with ultra-narrow, symmetrical bezels on all sides. The curved screen is designed to enhance comfort during extended use, whether for reading, social media, video calls, or entertainment. With a slim 7.2mm body and a pearlescent finish, the device aims to deliver a refined, balanced in-hand feel while maintaining a premium appearance.

Powering the NOTE Edge is the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. According to Infinix, the chipset is optimized for consistent performance rather than peak benchmarks, delivering smooth multitasking, stable gaming performance, and efficient power management over time. The focus, the company says, is on reliability during daily use rather than short bursts of speed.

Battery performance is another key highlight of the device. The NOTE Edge comes with a 6,500mAh battery, designed to support a full day of heavy usage across navigation, messaging, video streaming, and work applications. Infinix has also included battery self-healing technology to help slow long-term capacity degradation, supporting a longer overall device lifespan.

On the software front, the smartphone runs on the latest XOS 16, featuring memory-aware scheduling to maintain responsiveness during prolonged use. Infinix has confirmed three years of operating system updates and five years of security patches, positioning the NOTE Edge as a long-term and secure option within its segment.

Connectivity remains a critical focus, with the NOTE Edge supporting 5G alongside UPS 3.0 technology, which improves weak or low-frequency network signals by up to 50 percent. This enhancement is intended to deliver more stable connectivity in indoor environments and high-traffic areas.

For photography, the device features a 50MP rear camera supported by AI RAW+ and Live Photo modes, designed to deliver clear, natural images even in low-light conditions. The phone also includes dual stereo speakers and a high-brightness display for improved audio-visual experiences.

Alongside the launch, Infinix reaffirmed its long-term commitment to women’s football in Bangladesh. National Women’s Team footballer Ritu Porna Chakma and team captain Afeida Khandaker have joined the brand as ambassadors, reflecting Infinix’s focus on inclusivity, youth empowerment, and national pride.

The Infinix NOTE Edge is available in Silk Green and Lunar Titanium, with Stellar Blue and Shadow Black options also offered. Pricing starts at BDT 29,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and BDT 31,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The device is now available nationwide through authorized retail stores and online platforms.
