SAFF Women’s Futsal Champions Inaugurate Turaag Active Store in Narayanganj
Turaag Active, a leading Bangladeshi activewear brand, has honoured the victorious Bangladesh Women’s Futsal Team – champions of the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship 2026 by inviting them to inaugurate its newly launched store in Narayanganj. The event, held in a festive atmosphere, celebrated the historic achievement of the national team and their contribution to women’s sports in Bangladesh, a press release said.
Organised with the aim of recognising and celebrating the accomplishments of female athletes, the ceremony became a vibrant gathering of sports personalities and corporate leaders. As part of the programme, the women’s futsal team visited the UHM factory, an enterprise of Urmi Group located in Narayanganj. There, they engaged in an interactive session with members of the Urmi family, sharing their international experiences, challenges, and future aspirations. A special luncheon was later hosted in honour of the champions, marking the celebration of their historic success.
In recognition of their remarkable achievement, Turaag Active presented the Bangladesh Women’s Futsal Team with financial rewards and special gifts. According to the organisers, this gesture represents not just a formal honour but a symbol of trust, encouragement, and long term support for female athletes.
