Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) organized the Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony for participants of the month-long Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) at its Head Office in Dhaka on 17 February 2026, a press release said.
The program, financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance and Bangladesh Bank, aims to foster entrepreneurship development and enhance industry competitiveness in Bangladesh.
A total of 25 entrepreneurs successfully completed the program, receiving hands-on training on various aspects of business development, innovation, and industry competitiveness.
Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director of EBL; Md. Nazrul Islam, Program Director (PD) and Director (Current Charge), SMESPD, Bangladesh Bank; Mohammad Wasim, Deputy Program Director (DPD)-Programs and Joint Director, Bangladesh Bank; along with participating entrepreneurs and others were present on the occasion.
